Motorists in Redcar are bracing for potential delays as the local council announced a significant upgrade to the traffic signals at the busy intersection of the West Dyke Road and Millbank Terrace.

The project is scheduled to commence on Monday 23rd March and is expected to last for five weeks.
During this period, temporary multi-way traffic lights will be in place to allow engineers to safely install the new signalling system.

While the short-term inconvenience is unavoidable, the long-term benefits of the upgraded traffic signals are expected to significantly improve the overall driving experience in Redcar.
