It is called TS10 after the town's postcode, so you can immediately recognise what the website will be about.

Melissa is a third year undergraduate student at Teesside University studying Journalism.

For her final project she chose to create a hyperlocal news website about the sea-side town of Redcar.

She has lived in Redcar her whole life, knows the area extremely well and is very passionate about local news.

She hopes Redcar residents and anyone interested in local news will appreciate this project and support in any way they can.
